We currently offer an exciting opportunity for Analytic Science Manager who will:
- Design, plan, develop, coordinate and direct analytic work done on highly visible, multi-million dollar engagements.
- Related to customer segmentation, response/revenue/attrition modeling, experimental design, product affinity analysis, and/or pre-market offer testing.
- Manage the analytic components of the project, including project schedules, workflow, and direction to the analytic team.
- Provide analytic leadership in thinking through key project decisions.
- Ensure the client's business objectives are incorporated into the analytic plan.
- Communicate key analytic findings to client and address client's analytic concerns under Delivery Manager’s guidance.
- Effectively balance the trade-off between analytic quality and speed/cost of production.
- Serve as mentor and foster the career development of entry and intermediate-level professional staff members.
- Represent the company at industry conferences or academic conventions; promote the company through public speaking and/or writing articles.
- Investigate newly developed technologies and methodologies from throughout the Fair Isaac analytic community for potential application to existing or planned products of the Unit.
- Maintain a strong personal base of knowledge with respect to analytic techniques, decision management technology, industry practices, trends and issues.
Experience/Qualifications :
This position requires:
- Minimum 4 years experience in a role leading and managing analytic projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Operational Research, Computer Science or a technical field.
- Experience with predictive modeling, segmentation, experimental design, and optimization.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of project management, and work scheduling.
Skill to:
- Communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing with persons having diverse backgrounds of knowledge and experience; conduct meetings and make professional presentations; teach complex concepts and explain technical material to non-technical users.
- Adjust to a fluctuating work load; withstand pressure of deadlines, operating problems and interpersonal tensions; Organize and manage time and resources; establish priorities and coordinate work on many projects simultaneously.
