Medio Systems is pioneering personalized search and recommendations technology for mobile content. We are seeking a seasoned developer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a small, highly-focused team on software that will improve the search experience for millions of mobile users.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement efficient, scalable personalized search and recommendation algorithms.
• Develop tools to evaluate and optimize search results and recommendations.
• Improve relevancy of search results and recommendations using extensive knowledge of information retrieval and data mining.
• Develop prototypes of new features.
• Build and deploy models in production.
• Collaborate with program managers and developers to design new mission-critical personalization and recommendations features.

• Experience developing production search, personalization, and/or recommendations software.
• Extensive knowledge of information retrieval and data mining tools and algorithms.
• Desire to develop new features and algorithms to deliver the most relevant content to mobile users.
• Proven ability to implement production software using Java, Linux, and other open source tools.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fluid environment with rapidly changing requirements, in a dynamic industry.
