We are currently seeking candidates for an Analytic Software Manager position for our R&D Unit in our San Rafael, CA office.

Role/Responsibilities:

Provide training to client system administrators and IT teams on technical side of software packages. Work with delivery and development teams to support off-the-shelf software deliveries, customized software engagements and software version upgrades. Work with development teams to identify and champion software improvements and resolve defects. Manage software fulfillment and installation process timelines. Lead and facilitate testing of software in different hardware platforms and communication protocols. Work with internal technology groups to manage software deployments (including server maintenance & testing).

Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year experience planning, installing and debugging a multi-user, client/server based software.

Masters or bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related technical field.

Previous client facing experience in a start-up environment or well established enterprise software company.

Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally, as well as participate in extended engagements at client sites

Preferred skills and experience:

Working knowledge of third party software integration

Platform skills: Windows 2000/XP, Windows 2003, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, Red Hat Enterprise LINUX

Database skills: Oracle 8i

Programming skills: Java or other similar object oriented programming language

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with people at all levels of Fair Isaac and client organizations

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing with persons having diverse backgrounds of knowledge and experience; conduct meetings and make professional presentations

Ability to work independently, retaining flexibility in working methods, schedules and travel

Ability to adjust to a fluctuating work load; withstand pressure of deadlines, operating problems and interpersonal tensions; organize and manage time and resources; establish priorities and coordinate work on many projects simultaneously
