The Loss Prevention Analyst will provide his/her customers with information and data they need for planning, analysis, and decision-making. Work closely with those customers to understand key business drivers behind data requests. Investigate advertiser and partner complaints regarding billable click traffic. Analyze consumers' click behavior with respect to particular products, advertisers, or affiliate partners. The person in this position will also be required to work closely in collaborative efforts with team members in the Business Information and other technology groups.

Required qualifications include the following:

• 5 + years demonstrated experience working as a data analyst, performing SQL database queries (e.g. Oracle, Informix, Sybase) and analyzing data from transactional databases
• 3+ demonstrated experience working within Unix environments
• 3+ years experience working with Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be team-oriented
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to navigate complicated database relationships and understand how that data can best be leveraged to meet customer needs
• Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentations required
• Experience in the analysis of large data sets to find useful relationships across time
• Proven experience in a customer-focused role and building relationships with key internal customers
• Ability to formulate quantitative approaches to address business questions
• Ability to complete analysis and deliver results in a timely manner
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple projects

• 2+ years of experience with SAS, SPSS, S, S-Plus, R, RATS, SysStat, or similar statistics package
• Strong grasp of basic statistics
• Perl
• Unix (Sun Solaris and/or Linux) shell scripting
• Experience working with large transactional and reporting databases (+50M rows daily)
