EagleForce patents for Knowledge Discovery technology (called Black Dragon)

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 2, 2006--EagleForce Associates, Inc. - announces that two patent applications directed to its Knowledge Discovery technology (called Black Dragon), have been published by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. The applications have not yet been approved or allowed by the Patent Office and are still pending applications. The Publication Nos. of the two applications are 2005-0038805 A1 and 2005-0278362 A1.

EagleForce's Black Dragon knowledge discovery architecture, system and software technology brings context to the vast universe of content across both an enterprise and public domain data. The patent-pending technology enables organizations for the first time to comprehensively search data regardless of the format. The Black Dragon technology also provides a pioneering capability that mimics the way in which humans process data and information. As a result, the technology understands the user needs, and can quickly sort and analyze the most relevant and useful content. EagleForce's technology encompasses all analytic capabilities for structured and unstructured data and has been recognized as a best of breed approach in the DoD's Global Information Grid - Enterprise Service (GIG-ES) for Discovery, which is intended to tie together all information across the Department of Defense - the world's largest holder of content. This next generation technology is designed to overcome information silos, unreliable data, and highly disaggregated data to enable customers to identify complex, time critical patterns, and uncover non-obvious relationships to power informed decision making.

EagleForce Associates is a privately held provider of the next generation predictive intelligence solutions for public and private enterprises. Headquartered in McLean, VA, the company helps customers make better decisions by leveraging all internal and external data - whether the data is text, database or multimedia.
