Your challenge will be to create technologies, applications and tools in SEM/SEO/Site Search space. This visible critical initiative will drive revenue and traffic for the MSN Media Network from search engines and other external sources globally. This ground floor opportunity will be to pull together the business & technical threads that allow us to achieve these aspirations.

The team is looking for a strong, self-motivated developer to design & develop applications and tools that allow us to visualize, specify and build features which enable superior monetization, robust scale, and incredible user relevance.

We need a SDE who has the proven ability to analyze, prioritize and get the right things done in a timely manner. Candidates should have great core SDE skills (strong coding skills, attention to detail, proven track record of working with PM/test in a product group, using customer feedback in feature design, passion for product, solid written and oral communication skills). This position also requires the demonstrated ability to influence our product teams through written, interpersonal, and presentation skills, the wherewithal to handle multiple concurrent releases and demonstrated experience driving for results in a cross-group/team project.

This position will focus on building great internal & end-user features that will get our partners and consumers engaged while finding optimal ways to monetize. Candidate must be able to sort through and deeply understand the underlying technical requirements, incorporate these concepts into a product design, and then build & deliver features in a timely manner.

Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, a minimum of 5 years of OOP (C#/ C++/Java) development experience required and have a solid understanding of web (IIS, ASPX, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML and related .NET) technologies.

Strong debugging skills and a focus on performance, scalability, and security are a must. Demonstrated object-oriented design skills and the ability to apply design patterns are a must. Experience with large scale web based data driven distributed application working in an Agile environment is also highly desired. Data modeling is a plus. He or she needs to have strong experience in meeting schedules, working effectively across teams.
