AdCenter team is looking for a Lead Software Design Engineer to build and develop tools and applications to simulate real-world usage of AdCenter.

The Developer lead will be responsible for leading an engineering team that is responsible for all aspects of shipping a product, including architecture, design, development and quality. This position will be part of the System Integration team in AdCenter.

The team you will manage will build and develop our tools and applications to simulate customer usage of our AdCenter API, Middle Tier and UI. AdCenter is the team charged with making Microsoft money via its Ad-Platform. As a development lead in the System integration team you will partner closely with the other software developers, program managers and operations. You will be involved in all aspects of design, implementation and quality of our next generation system. You will also need to get an understanding of the AdCenter Business.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with development and program management in project planning and scheduling.
  • At least 6-8 years experience developing and shipping high-quality products.
  • Solid experience with .Net framework class library, ASP.Net 2.0, C#, COM+, ADO.Net, SOAP, XML Web Services.
  • Excellent understanding of DHTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript, JSON and AJAX implementation.
  • Experience with n-tier web architecture using SOA.
  • Experience in implementing cross browser web applications supporting IE, FireFox, Netscape and Safari.
  • Good understanding of IIS 6.0, load balancing, web farms, clustering.
Qualified candidates will possess strong demonstrable knowledge in an object-oriented language (C/C++, C#), experience with automation frameworks and techniques for web applications (XML, Asp.net, Web Services) experience with SQL Server and a thorough understanding of the .Net technologies.
