Subject: New release of the free open-source learning environment YALE

we would like to introduce the new version 3.3 of the free open-source data mining and machine learning environment YALE. Among other features, this release offers a completely revised visualization engine which is both more efficient and more powerful. Together with the more than 350 learning and preprocessing operators, YALE is a complete knowledge discovery suite. You can find a discussion of the new features at

Probably the most important enhancements were done in the area of data set and model visualization. The new plotters include quartile plots, color histograms, survey plots, Andrews curves, parallel plots, bar plots, box plots, RadViz, GridViz, and SOMs (Self-Organizing Maps).

Beside other major improvements and several bugfixes, this version also includes a Windows executable and a Windows installer. Improved file handling, a debug mode, and support for search and replace further ease experiment design. This release also contains the latest Weka version.

You can download the newest version of YALE at
