Identity Systems Extends Identity Search to Unstructured Data

Using fuzzy algorithms, Identity Search Server V2.7 enterprise software eliminates distinction between structured and unstructured data for unparalleled search and match results

Old Greenwich, CT (October 17, 2006) -- Identity Systems, a division of Nokia’s (NYSE: NOK) Enterprise Solutions business group and a worldwide leader in identity searching and matching technology, today announced Identity Search Server (ISS) V2.7, a significant upgrade to the company’s complete solution for identity searching, screening, matching and duplicate discovery across the enterprise. The new Unstructured Data Module (UDM) provides the functionality needed to identify and extract the desired entities -- names, addresses, organizations, phone numbers, etc -- from an extended range of electronic depositories and index them using fuzzy algorithms. ISS v2.7 already supports 65 languages by default and can support every other language. The technology offers major advantages in search and match capabilities to Identity Systems' highly regarded customer base, which includes more than 600 global corporations and organizations, such as GE Capital, Bell Atlantic, Federal Express and the Internal Revenue Service.
