The Manager of Product Analytics will be responsible for developing analyses that provide insight into factors and programs that drive the business. This position will provide a strategic approach to analytics and present the analysis in concise, actionable formats that include business recommendations to all stakeholders -- moving beyond backwards-looking measurements to more decision-focused management.

The position is charged with solving issues of fragmented data, information "overload" and information with adequate "context". The Product Analytics Manager will assist in providing list management, campaign analytics, reporting, modeling, profiling and segmentation analysis for one or more of our key functions -- Product Management, Product Marketing, Product Development, Loyalty and Product Adoption, and Churn Management.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • List Management process in support of Loyalty Lifecycle campaigns
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc analysis presentations, including written narrative, and review findings with business partners.
  • Overall program/campaign analysis for Loyalty and Product Adoption
  • Support the development of business cases and ongoing financial impacts of programs
  • Develop and maintain models that support segmentation schemes for targeted loyalty and adoption campaigns.
  • Act as a statistical and analytical consultant providing guidance for the design, analysis, and measurement phases of new programs.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, writing skills, communications/presentation skills, and the ability to work within a team.
  • Working knowledge of marketing strategies and concepts
  • Detail-oriented and focus on accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and more efficient reporting processes
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
  • Bachelors Degree required. Degree in Business/Economics/Finance, Marketing, Statistics/Math, or MIS preferred.
  • 4+ years in Marketing Reporting/Analysis and/or Database Marketing required.
  • Experience with marketing analytic tools and technologies (examples below)
    • Data mining, modeling and predictive analysis (e.g., SAS, SPSS)
    • Business intelligence (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos)
    • Customer relationship management (e.g., SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft)
    • Customer data warehouse or datamart (e.g., Oracle, Donnelly, NCR Teradata)
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Word)
