Yahoo! partners with a large number of publishers who show sponsoredad listings delivered by Yahoo! depending on the content of their web-sites. The quality of the web traffic driven by the publishers determines the click through rates, and the conversion rates of these sponsored ad listings.

Job Responsibilities:
The Data Driven Applications (DDA) team is looking for energetic individuals who can play a major role in analyzing and measuring the quality of the web-traffic driven by the publishers. The position offers vast opportunities to define real-time metrics of the quality of thepublisher web traffic, in order to improve the efficacy of the Yahoo! publisher network.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Strong skills in statistical analysis of large quantities of web-traffic data
• Deep knowledge of relevant metrics for real-time systems
• Good understanding of data mining techniques.
• Strong skills in C/C++, algorithms
• Experience working with large volumes of data.
• BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physical Sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.

• Experience with on-line advertising and direct marketing data is a plus.
• MS/Ph.D in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physical Sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
