Position:
The Director is responsible for carrying out significant enterprise
business analysis related to Cablevision's customers and prospects as
well diverse ongoing production analysis, e.g., Customer Lifetime
Value, Business Market landscape and opportunity, and Sales and Net
Gain performance in ethnic markets. The analyses, which will mine the
considerable data resources available to Cablevision's Marketing &
Advertising, will be used to understand and report on such issues as
relationships to product combinations, geographies, etc., as well as
examine offer retention data to identify trends. Once the projects are
completed, the Director will present results, observations and
recommendations to senior staff.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Statistical and trend analysis to proactively identify opportunities, including untapped markets and under-performing segments, programs and offers
- Bridging programming and analytic capabilities to provide answers to senior management questions
- Business implications of retention/attrition behaviors and patterns
- Profiling and segmentation for marketing to Consumer and Business prospect and customer bases
- Analysis of churn by product combination, geography and other factors
Qualifications:
- Five to seven years of experience in product management, financial management and/or direct marketing/database marketing experience as well as P&L management
- Experience in customer, product and/or offer lifecycle management
- Ability to assess and size market opportunities and trends using native data, primary and secondary research
- Demonstrated ability to identify and articulate key elements of strategic vision and execution
- Thorough understanding of broad organizations and demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams and leading change
- Ability to attract and develop talent
- Strong statistical orientation
- Self-starter with high intellectual curiosity
- Excellent writing skills and ability to produce communications appropriate for senior executives
