The Position:

  • Core responsibilities include conducting quantitative analyses, segmentation and statistical modeling of AXA's client base. This includes the application of logistic regression techniques to estimate client vulnerability and cross-sell potential, incorporating the use of demographic information, in-house transactional data and externally acquired data. Also included is the application of clustering techniques to segment the client base.
  • Additional responsibilities include profiling / data mining the client base for revenue opportunities to support Marketing initiatives, as well as assisting with the creation of client lists for Marketing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Masters in applied analytical field
  • Several years of prior experience, preferably in financial services industry
  • Proficient using SAS for data access, data manipulation and analysis
  • Strong computer skills, specifically MS-Excel for reporting
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrates strategic and analytical thinking, strong problem solving skills and ability to deliver result-oriented analyses that can provide significant and measurable business value
  • Knowledge of UNIX, relational databases, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint is a plus
