Job Responsibilities/The Role/The Job
As a member of Yahoo!'s Product Intelligence Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing research and comprehensive data analysis to a number of parties within our International Business Unit. Your responsibilities will include identifying key metrics, validating the correctness of metrics, managing the testing process, analyzing test results, and regular report writing to summarize tests and make objective recommendations. You will be responsible for analyzing, reporting and validating market share reports for international markets.

The candidate needs to demonstrate ability to execute successfully in all aspects of engagements with different members of our international business unit, including, analysis methodology development, analysis execution, strategic recommendations development, and clear presentation of findings. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

The candidate needs to have strong strategic problem solving skills, with the ability to help our product/marketing/engineering/business groups to understand and prioritize opportunities.

Minimum Job Qualifications
Required skills including statistical analysis/testing, quantitative analysis, SQL, Perl, regular expressions, and HTML

Preferable Job Qualifications
The Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in CS/EE with a minimum of 2 years experience as a data analyst, or an advanced technical degree. Experience in Web Analytics is highly desirable. Technical skills such as Excel VBA Macros, and Microstrategy are a plus.
