Skills : Strong C/C++/UNIX/LINUX also java/scripting. Educated to higher degree level with a background in a scientific or mathematical discipline.

Requires 3+ years of programming experience in an industrial R+D environment with evidence of successful algorithmic/statistical programming and/or data workflow solutions such as Pipeline Pilot. Knowledge of mass spectrometry or signal processing applications is also highly desirable.

Role : Working as part of a team in the Informatics group the successful candidate�s primary responsibility will be to develop/extend/test/modify/integrate and maintain analysis pipeline software and related subcomponents, such as statistical tests and mass spectrometry algorithms, that are used by Pronota's data analysis group and MS groups.

This requires the development and exploration of mathematical and statistical issues around the interpretation of cutting-edge proteomics and genomics data sets coupled with the ability, working with others, to construct useful data analysis systems that accelerate and increase the quality of Pronota�s biomarker discovery capability.
