Subject: IEEE ICDM Data Mining Contest (ICDM DMC 2007)

The IEEE ICDM Data Mining Contest (ICDM DMC) is set up to meet the challenges of novel, difficult and high-impact real world data mining problems. We strive to make this contest series an important part of the IEEE ICDM Conference in the future.

This year's inaugural contest proposes a location-estimation problem in an indoor wireless network environment. The problem is to accurately predict a mobile user's locations from the received radio signal strength values in a wireless environment.

For more information, please see http://www.cse.ust.hk/~qyang/ICDMDMC07/ , or contact icdm07contest@gmail.com
