Strategy & Analysis Group

The Digitas Strategy & Analysis Group is responsible for driving strategic thinking and economic insight across multiple client engagements. Specifically, we:

  • Discover new paths for growth by uncovering and developing new segments, products, and channels
  • Optimize budget and programs through test-and-learn, discipline, innovation and analysis to get the best possible return on the marketing investment
  • Lay the Strategy foundation for companies just starting to develop relationship marketing capabilities
  • Collaborate with creative, media, marketing and technology to build a robust marketing strategy for the client
Responsibilities

As a Manager, you will work under the direction of a senior leadership team to:

  • Determine the effectiveness of direct marketing activities through various analytical methods including but not limited to: segmentation, value schemes and predictive modeling
  • Provide integrated marketing analytical solutions across customers and channels to improve client decision-making
  • Build functional expertise in one or more of the following disciplines; database marketing, integrated channel marketing (including web), analytical tools, techniques, and other infrastructure requirements
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of measurement deliverables meet client expectations and identifying measurement opportunities within client relationships
  • Manage vendors on a project basis to implement measurement solutions as well as single contributor on projects and tasks
  • Work across offline and online channels to establish and maintain measurement infrastructure
  • Provide leadership and direction to assigned staff on all aspects of client deliverables including preparation, management of project budgets and resource allocation
  • Perform ongoing training activities to educate staff in strategic analytical concepts and issues
Qualifications:
  • BS in statistics, mathematics, or economics, an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of business experience in a direct marketing agency or consulting environment preferred
  • Extensive experience with analytic segmentation, database marketing, CRM tools and technologies, test design, reporting and analysis design, measurement strategy development, statistical modeling, financial modeling, web marketing measurement and site analysis
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong expertise in SAS, SQL, SPSS, Excel, and Access
  • Flexibility to travel
Career Path:
The length of time in the manager role will depend on educational background and prior experience. After this period, managers typically get considered for the Associate Director role. If managers decide to leave Digitas, they generally take management positions across different industries or choose to pursue a more entrepreneurial path. Some of our alumni continue to pursue advanced degrees at top business schools and other business related degrees.
