Position Overview:
We are looking for an energetic and passionate individual to fill an immediate opening for a Data Operations Analyst. As a growing firm, we require team players that can add to our high-calibre cast. Enthusiasm and professionalism are essential qualities in all Digital Cement employees.

As a Data Operations Analyst, you will play a key hands-on role within our Data Team contributing strong technical abilities, impeccable attention to detail and a sense of ownership over your work. You will be responsible for the data management needs of our clients through the execution of data processes, segmentation of mailing lists and generation of reports.

Key Accountabilities:

• Data management: input files, file extracts, weekly production file processing, reports and results audits
• Data quality: data profiling, quality analysis, de-duplication, exceptions reports
• Troubleshooting of data process using DTS and SSIS
• Create and maintain Operations Manuals for all client work
• Actively support client projects providing subject matter expertise on client databases

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience working with MS SQL 2000 and 2005 databases
• Solid understanding of relational database model theories
• Experience writing T-SQL statements and Stored Procedures is a must
• Hands-on exposure to DTS (SQL Server 2000) and SSIS (SQL Server 2005)
• Good working knowledge of Excel functions and pivot tables is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as an attention to detail
• Energy and ability to work well with others in a client-focused, innovative environment.
• Flexibility - demand can be cyclical in nature and the successful candidate must be ready to put in an extra effort at peak times.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or related field (or comparative College diploma).
• The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong preference for working in a client services environment.
