Brande, Denmark: Bestseller is seeking a talented candidate to help develop forecasting, reporting and the analytical capabilities within Bestseller's retail business.

You will participate in the development and implementation of our Fashion Intelligence strategy in 40 countries for 15 brands. You will be centrally based in our Business Development department at our headquarters in Brande, Denmark and will take contact with various people and departments throughout Europe. We expect you to be people oriented, passionate and structured. Furthermore, you have strong analytical capabilities and are able to work independently.

Areas of Responsibility

• Assist in the development of our global forecasting methodology, including retail buying forecasts, sales forecasts, etc.
• Ensure assumptions and procedures are communicated effectively in regards to the forecasting process.
• Provide support for our business development efforts through reporting and analysis insights on our business operations, trends, costs, revenues, etc.
• Assist in defining global KPI's for our retail business
• Develop and present ad-hoc analysis to leadership as needed

• BS/BA degree in a quantitative field such as finance, operations research, economics, statistics, or engineering. MBA or masters degree is preferred.
• Prior forecasting experience is required, preferably in a retail environment
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with a diverse international team
• Strong analytical understanding, including knowledge of commonly used statistical techniques and advanced Excel or SPSS skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work in Denmark for a period of at least 2 years
• Prior international experience and/or retail experience is a plus
