Responsibilities: As a statistician leader this person will be responsible for designing and executing our statistical and business information based strategies (IBS). This person will be leading the teams that build and maintain scoring models that underwrite our customer loans. They will also need to develop the next generation of statistical and business leaders.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 10+ years post graduate work with track record of leading statistical and business strategy and execution in financial services
• Masters or Ph.D. in a highly statistical field
• Expert in classic statistical material (for example, linear models, logistic regression, hypothesis testing, sampling)
• Effective at influencing others and as a public speaker
• Experience building complex statistical models
• Ability to create and lead complex projects.

• PhD. In Statistics, Economics or related field
• Passion for leading teams of statisticians--motivating and developing top talent
• Ideal candidates for this position will also have excellent teaching skills and extensive experience in leading change in complex business environments
• SAS programmer, solid on data step and several of the statistical procedures, familiar with macros
