PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Lead consulting engagements across multiple clients and drive senior client relationships. Develop and publish strategy-oriented intellectual capital for clients and the internal Digitas organization. Develop effective relationships with clients and other groups across the agency. Lead and play an active role in new client acquisition and new business pitches.

Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Client Delivery

  • Define scope, recommended approach, and manage execution of major strategic planning projects for clients
  • Serve as key Digitas thought leader in aligning digital strategy and eBusiness transformation with a client�s broader business goals and objectives
  • Lead thorough responses to client strategic issues. Topics may include enterprise-wide interactive strategy, strategic budgeting decisions, competitive assessments, technology points of view, and business case analyses.
Business Development

  • Extend client Digital Strategy & Analysis relationships across clients and channels into increasingly more actionable and value-added services through:
    • Convincing clients of the value of S&A services to their business
    • Helping clients define their needs and potential solutions
  • Establish and maintain substantial and influential relationships with client senior management
  • Prospect, qualify and close major S&A new business opportunities. Make significant contributions to and establish relationships with prospective clients, increasing Digitas� potential for business. Participate or lead several new business initiatives simultaneously
  • Develop, execute and report on new business plans in support of S&A and Digitas business objectives
Practice Development

  • Codify and publish formal frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues, both leveraging existing Digitas intellectual capital and developing innovative concepts
  • Present at appropriate conferences and organizations representing S&A and Digitas
People Development

  • Provide methodological support, coaching, training and advice to S&A staff on multiple client and internal assignments
  • Play an active role in training and mentoring co-workers on S&A-created intellectual capital
  • Provide timely feedback and performance evaluation to staff members
  • Develop staff development plans with direct reports
  • Build team environment
  • Participate in the hiring of new employees
  • Perform ongoing training activities to educate Digitas staff in strategic marketing concepts and issues
QUALIFICATIONS:

Job Experience: 8+ years of consulting and/or agency experience including

  • Business Strategy and Management
  • Strategic Marketing
  • Interactive/Technology
Education: MBA or equivalent Masters preferred
