This specific job deals with the technical side of web frontends, including shared services, server performance, web security (XSS, DDOS, etc.), content delivery networks, and more. Things get more interesting when you consider that we have to coordinate all of this across many partners and datacenters, all while maintaining exceptional availability. If you love the technical aspects of the web, you�ll be hard pressed to find a better fit than this. There are great opportunities for advancing the reliability, performance, and site protection capabilities of Search. In this role you will not only drive improvements in the production, you will also be working to raise the bar of the test team by mentoring and teaching existing SDETs on the team. Use your experience to your benefit, showing a strong impact on the productivity and capability of the team.

Successful candidates will find creative solutions to both end-user and testing problems. You are also someone who enjoys keeping up on the latest testing approaches and recognizing when they are useful in your work. Candidates should relish the opportunity to work on bleeding-edge search technologies and be able to keep up with a rapidly changing technology base. We are a fast-moving team, so you must have strong multitasking skills and be able to balance work on multiple areas simultaneously.

• Excellent technical and communication skills,
