The Content Platform Test Team is looking for self-motivated, creative testers with strong computer science fundamentals to champion the quality of our next gen IndexGen platform, the search backend that fetches and builds the index from billions of web document. We are very focused on automation development, tool development, and experimentation around next generation projects and building the test platform to enable the team and partners to validate E2E data quality with the minimum effort. As an SDET, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality bar for the products that get shipped with short release cycles. You will also engage very closely with other core search and partner teams that are dependent on our platform to drive end-to-end scenario validation. This position offers great career-growth potential as well as impact and visibility across the whole of Search. Being at the very core of Bing, it also offers great exposure to the latest software and hardware technology trends in the search industry. A successful candidate will have excellent technical and communication skills with a proven track record in successfully shipping products. Also, the candidate is expected to have strong coding skills in developing applications and/or service-oriented systems with .Net/C# or C/C++, strong background in test case design and automation, and have a good understanding of networking and databases (SQL/data mining). Multitasking and ability to work with minimal supervision is a requirement. Five or more years experience in the software field and a BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred. This position is located in Redmond, Washington.
