Microsoft plans eventually to put data mining functionality into SQL Server. Microsoft said six vendors--Angoss Software Corp., SAS Institute Inc., SPSS Inc., Silicon Graphics Inc., Data Sage Inc. and E.piphany--helped develop the specification.
