We are currently looking for a Senior Data Miner with strong expertise in SAS, Unix, and Oracle environments to participate in several customer analysis and CRM projects for some of the largest financial institutions in the world. The position requires full participation in the knowledge discovery process, from interaction with a client to help define the problem, to data cleaning and model development in a SAS-oriented environment, to results presentation and model deployment and monitoring. Candidates will join a group of world-class experts in data warehousing, knowledge discovery and front-office automation. An M.S. in Statistics or Computer Science is required, and 2-3 years of experience is desirable. Candidates should be familiar with different modeling approaches, including decision trees and neural networks. Candidates should be able to program in several languages in a Unix environment, and be able to quickly pick up new systems and languages.
