@Brett2point0, Sports Analytics
Full disclosure: I have been a "stat nerd" and self-proclaimed fantasy sports geek for 8 years (2007 Football League Champion):
Sports analytics merely increase the likelihood of (yet do not guarantee) making a more educated, more informed decision. Undervalued obscure analyses (i.e. on base percentage in Lewis' "Moneyball") may or may not lead to rare insight or ultimately grant a competitive advantage.
Yet, in the end, one may make just as compelling an argument for ABSOLUTE 50/50 CHANCE as well!!
