The results of this poll are not directly comparable with 2014 Salary/Income for Analytics, Data Mining, Data Science poll because of much higher participation this year and different composition of voters. However, we note highrr salaries in the US for both industry and academic data scientists. We also see lower salaries in Europe and Asia for industry - however this is probably die to higher participation from those regions in 2015, which drew more people with lower salaries/incomes.
