Top Conferences in Data Mining

Among many interesting findings, there is a list of top conferences in Data Mining, ranked by in Domain citations. The top conference is KDD (www.kdd.org). Surprisingly, there are many traditionally database conferences like ICDE and DaWaK among the list.

An interesting measure of conference quality is Citations / Publications. By this measure the highest quality papers were in DMKD - SIGMOD workshop run from 1996 to 2004, followed by KDD and FIMI.
