New York, Apr 13: Inaugural Sentiment Analysis Symposium

This event bridges technology and business: software that discovers business value in opinions and attitudes in social media, news and enterprise feedback.

February 24, 2010

The Sentiment Analysis Symposium 2010 will be held on April 13 at the Executive Conference Center in Manhattan. This event bridges technology and business in one of the most exciting applications to emerge in recent years: software that discovers business value in opinions and attitudes in social media, news and enterprise feedback.

A Visionaries Panel, moderated by Forrester Research Analyst Suresh Vittal, featuring Bradley Honan, Senior Vice President at StrategyOne, Greg Radner, Global Head of PR Services at Thomson Reuters and Brad McCormick, Director of Digital at Porter Novelli, will headline the Sentiment Analysis Symposium. The panel will delve into the business impact of extracting value from opinions and attitudes in social media, news, and enterprise feedback.

"The symposium will provide an unmatched opportunity to learn about sentiment technologies: the range of solutions, how they're applied, performance standards and ROI, and how to select the right provider," according to industry analyst Seth Grimes, who is conference chair. "I'm especially looking forward to an on-stage conversation with Nathan Gilliatt and Marshall Sponder about Selecting a Social Media Analysis Platform/Provider." Nathan Gilliatt is founder and principal at Social Target. Marshall Sponder is a social media and Web analyst with webmetricsguru.com.

More information, including registration details, is available at: www.sentimentsymposium.com. Registration by March 12 qualifies for the Early Bird price of $795 (save $200).
