This one day conference will explore new results and recently developed statistical approaches to data mining. The presentations by Sarob Anand, Vladimir Cherkassky, Yoav Freund, Jerome Friedman, Yi Lin, Llew Mason, Rob McCulloch and Jennifer Steinbachs promise a highly stimulating symposium.
