This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop an independent research program within a dynamic, collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. Duties include teaching in the bioinformatics stream of the Faculty of Medicine's Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) program, as well as undergraduate and graduate student supervision. The successful candidate will develop a vigorous and externally funded research program and is encouraged to seek external salary support. Current strengths of the Department include high-throughput genomics and proteomics core facilities and the Sun Center of Excellence for Visual Genomics (SCEVG), one of Canada's leading bioinformatics installations.
