My client is seeking a Internet Search/Relevancy Manager. You will be responsible for the overall management of relevancy for developing next generation search technology. The successful candidate will have total responsibility for ensuring relevancy through developing cutting edge algorithmic and measurement techniques for web search and ranking.

Responsibilities:

• Drive technical projects in developing and evaluating algorithms and software for Internet search and information retrieval.
• Track and classify relevancy issues.
• Provide leadership for a group of developers. Mentor and advise their growth and technical development.
• Drive the development of relevancy measurement criteria including quantitative data points.
• Devise relevancy testing methodology and evaluation tools.
• Create customized solutions to evaluate unique aspects of engine behavior.
• Develop a comprehensive strategic roadmap and plan for relevance which advances relevancy algorithms and test process with quantitative and qualitative goals.
• Interact with other departments and teams for technology communication.

• Three years of advanced research and industry experience in Internet search and information retrieval.
• Proven track record in project management and product delivery.
• Solid leadership skills and experience in building engineering teams and mentoring first-level technical leads.
• Masters degree required.
• Ideal candidates will have experience with C++ and Unix.
