Many people were asking about a discussion forum (bulletin board) on data mining.

I have set up such a forum at www.kdnuggets.com/phpBB (powered by excellent phpBB software).

Initially, there are two forums -

• Beginners, for basic data mining questions,
• Experts, for more advanced questions

I will be monitoring them and creating additional forums, as needed.

For example, if there is a sufficient demand, I can create forums for industry-specific topics, such as data mining in finance or pharmaceutical data mining.

There are many other additional features supported by phpBB, such as user-groups, avatars, etc, which I will be happy to add if there is a sufficient demand.
