All technology terms have their lifetime - who remembers the "Information Superhighway", which was popular in 1990s?

Big Data is very hot in 2012, but will also be replaced by a newer term which will better capture for the public the power of huge wave of data. So "Data Science" while popular in itself, is not a replacement for "Big Data".
