CALL FOR PRESENTATION OF LATE-BREAKING RESEARCH

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

IDA 2010
19-21 May 2010
Tucson, Arizona, USA

In 2010, the INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON INTELLIGENT DATA ANALYSIS will return to its roots: modeling and analyzing complex, dynamical systems using abstractions and techniques that cut across domains. The program will be interdisciplinary, emphasizing "first look" papers on high-impact work that might elsewhere be considered preliminary. To stimulate interactivity, the meeting will be held on the residential campus of Biosphere 2, near the University of Arizona's campus in Tucson.

The call for papers is now closed, but presentation of a paper is not a prerequisite for active participation in IDA 2010. Along with traditional paper presentations, the conference schedule will include plenary talks by Lise Getoor (University of Maryland) and David Krakauer (Santa Fe Institute) and discussion/brainstorming sessions.

A poster session will also be held for late-breaking results, wild new ideas, software demonstrations, student work, etc. Poster submissions will be reviewed, but not published. Please submit a one-page pdf abstract by email to posters@ida2010.org by May 1st if you'd like to present a poster at this session.

Please see www.ida2010.org for more information.

On behalf of the IDA 2010 organizers,

Liz Bradley & Jaakko Holmen
