Take a Test Drive of Oracle Data Mining 11gR2 on the Amazon Cloud
Oracle Data Mining Development has set up an
instance on the Amazon cloud for prospective customers who want to try
Oracle Data Mining 11gR2's

in-database data mining algorithms via the SQL/Java APIs and/or the
Oracle
Data Miner 11gR2 "Classic" user interface, but don't want to
have to install the Oracle Database or go through their Corporate IT.
Now anyone can try out the Oracle Data Mining Option on the Amazon Cloud with a pre-installed Oracle 11gR2 Database and sample datasets. Using the Oracle 11gR2 Data Mining Amazon Machine Image (AMI), users can now launch an Oracle Data Mining enabled instance directly through Amazon Web Services (AWS). As with Oracle's other AMIs, Oracle provides this Oracle Data Mining AMI at no cost above standard Amazon EC2 charges (which are the responsibility of the user).
Of course, you can still download a free evaluation copy of the Oracle Database to your own computer and install it with the Oracle Data Mining Option enabled . See the Oracle Data Mining Administrators Guide, which tells how to install a database and set up a data mining user account.
