The world's leading Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining conference (KDD), organized by the Association for Computing Machinery Special Interest Group on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (ACM SIGKDD), will convene in Washington DC, from July 25-28, 2010. Attracting hundreds of high caliber scientists, academics and students, as well as renowned industry experts, KDD 2010 is the top forum to present and discuss academic and industry advances in data mining and predictive analytics. Topics range from understanding social graphs with hundreds of millions of users, to clustering and recommendation predictive analytics algorithms, to innovative social network classification approaches that chart new directions to discover and take advantage of data.

KDD-2010 will feature 14 workshops and 12 tutorials on most important topics in data mining and knowledge discovery.

Sponsored by Microsoft, Yahoo, SAS and Google, KDD 2010 will take place on July 25-28, 2010. In addition to tutorials, panel sessions and keynote presentations, the conference will also present this year's ACM SIGKDD Innovation and Service Awards and announce the winners of the KDD Cup competition, which gives practitioners the opportunity to develop practical data mining solutions leveraging real data sets.
