Anderson Analytics
is reportedly beta testing its first proprietary text analytics software platform with select Fortune 500 clients.
The platform is being developed specifically for use by market researchers and is intended for use on both survey and social media data. Founder, Tom H. C. Anderson has long been a proponent in the field of text analytics within the marketing research community. Anderson Analytics was the first firm to leverage Natural Language Processing (NLP) within the ad-hoc market research field in 2005. Anderson's best practices in the area of text analytics have been well publicized and have earned them several awards.
The software is expected to be offered as a SaaS model and may be commercially available as early as summer of 2011.
Anderson Analytics Founder Tom Anderson declined to comment, except to confirm that his firm is testing a solution that takes an empirical approach to text mining.
