Spatial Data Analytics Corporation Inc. (SPADAC) is seeking highly qualified and experienced researchers in the area of spatial forecasting of events in urban environments. Research experience in geostatistics, spatial data mining, Markov Chain Monte Carlo, stochastic spatiotemporal processes, or spatial analysis software development is recommended. Minimum education is MS in related field or equivalent. PhD preferred. Many fields of study, such as demographics, petroleum production, environmental modeling, etc. may be applicable. We are looking for a candidate who is looking to learn and apply their existing skills in a new area. US Citizenship is required. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation as this position will require a clearance. The successful applicant should be in the Washington DC metro area, or willing to relocate.

Requirements:

• ESRI�s ArcMAP experience (version 8+) or similar package (e.g. MapInfo) (1+ yrs exp.)
• S-Plus experience or similar package preferred (e.g. �R�) (2+ yrs exp.)
• Programming experience a plus but not required
• Theory knowledge most important (3+ yrs exp.)
