Kaggle-in-Class is a new initiative that allows instructors to host data prediction and machine learning competitions for students. Stats 202 @ Stanford is our pioneering class - having just launched a competition to predict wine prices based on country of production, vintage and other factors. Students will apply the techniques they have been taught in class and compete to produce the best solutions. Competitions are an effective learning tool to engage students and provide objective scoring for assessment purposes. The three winning teams in Stanford's competition are being exempt from having to take the final!
