Visa's Senior Business Leader, Dr. Josh Jiang, will be discussing how to use TreeNet for in-flight scoring and more accurate credit card fraud detection.

The conference also features Capital One's Senior Director of Statistical Analysis, Dr. George Liu, and Statistical Analysis Manager, Dr. Clint Roberts, who will discuss how to use TreeNet to determine predictor transformations in regression models. TreeNet embodies Jerome Friedman's proprietary stochastic gradient boosting code, which Salford hascontinually refined and extended since its introduction in 2001.
