The Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University wishes to appoint outstanding academics in multiple areas of computer science and information systems to join our world-class team to deliver high-quality research and teaching which will help shape the future of computing.
We are currently recruiting in the following areas:
- Data Science (including artificial intelligence, machine learning, modelling, optimisation and data visualisation)
- Computer Systems (including networks, cloud computing, internet of things, software engineering and cybersecurity)
- IT for Energy (computer scientists working on applications in energy)
Continuing full-time academic positions are available at Lecturer and Senior Lecturer levels (equivalent to Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in the US). Additionally, outstanding applicants in any area of computer science and information systems at any level are also encouraged to apply. The faculty offers a generous start-up package including relocation, start-up research funds, scholarships for PhD students and a reduced teaching load for the first two years.
The Faculty of Information Technology is in the top 100 in the world for computer science (QS global rankings).
