A new Executive Master's program designed for upper-level managers enhancing their leadership and seeking to become innovators in the competitive use of big data, predictive analytics, and data-driven change initiatives seeks faculty, highly experienced guest lecturers and administrative leadership.
Applications are invited for adjunct faculty, lecturer, and program director positions. Adjunct appointments will be part-time, for specific courses. Lecturer and Program Director appointments may be part- or full-time, for renewable terms of one to three years. Applicants must have a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the subject of instruction and must be qualified to teach in one or more of the following or related areas, with specific expertise in the application of massive data sets to business strategy and business-model innovation: statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing and design of experiments; decision theory; cognitive and organizational bias; machine learning, data mining, and expert systems, with application to text, voice, and web analysis; data security and data privacy; visualization, simulation, and scenario building; large-scale social networks; customer and market segmentation; performance modeling; communication and negotiation.
We seek individuals who work well in a multifaceted and interdisciplinary environment, and who have demonstrated experience in defining business opportunities, challenges, and decisions specifically in the context of the data and analytics that addressed those challenges. Faculty members should be eager to facilitate in-person and on-line learning among highly motivated students drawn from multiple industry sectors and enrolled in a 16-month cohort program. The Program Director position is located in Providence, RI; other positions require travel to Providence and ability to teach and advise in a web-based platform.
