This credential is the other half of the equation that will earn you a SAS Certified Specialist in Statistics for Machine Learning. You’ll want to master these skills before you take the exam: 

• Build and explore descriptive models.
• Build and explore predictive models with continuous and categorical targets.
• Perform model validation.
• Assess model goodness of fit.
• Modify and compare models
• Score models

Here's some steps to help you prepare

First, read more details about the SAS Certified Specialist: Statistics for Machine Learning certification. You’ll also see training courses you can take to sharpen your skills and a free practice exam to test your knowledge before sitting for the exam.

When you’re ready to register, you’ll need to create an account (or access your existing account) through the SAS certification manager. From there you’ll single-sign on to the Pearson VUE registration system (the SAS exam Delivery provide) to schedule your exam. 

Once you’ve earned both Associate level certifications, you’ll become a SAS Certified Specialist in Statistics for Machine Learning.
