The Marketing faculty in the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California invites applications for a tenure-track faculty member (any rank), starting Fall 2014. The position(s) focus on undergraduate teaching, but may include teaching in MBA and certificate programs. The curriculum provides students with a strong foundation in marketing concepts as well as introduces them to cutting edge marketing tools that will give them an advantage when they graduate.

Preference will be given to candidates whose teaching and research focuses on evidence-based decision-making, supported by applied analytics, business intelligence, and market research. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in marketing, psychometrics, applied statistics, or a closely related field from an accredited institution; a commitment to project-based learning and to engaging students in applied research; and the ability to make intellectual contributions that are relevant to experienced managers. Industry experience is a plus. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
