The Opportunity

Data science is broadly concerned with the capture, management, analysis and use of data as an asset, focused around the central task of returning value from data where machine learning is the core technology. To be considered, you must have a demonstrated record of research in the Data Science area. Of particular relevance are the fields of:
  • network analysis (such as social networks)
  • high performance computing for data analytics
  • time-series
  • image analysis
  • data aggregation, data wrangling and multimedia analytics
  • mining text and semi-structured data, and natural language processing.

Moreover, you should demonstrate your capability to conduct high-quality teaching in data science and related areas. Your application should clearly show how this is the case.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
