Lecturer in Computational Intelligence

Starting salary from £30,747 - £35,646 per annum with further progression opportunities to £38,951

You will have a Doctorate in Computer Science or Engineering with a major focus on one of the following subject areas: Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Smart Adaptive Systems or Predictive Modelling. Working directly with the Smart Technology Research Centre (STRC) director, you will be part of a vibrant Computational Intelligence research team with a focus on developing highly adaptive predictive modelling systems.

This role provides an exceptional opportunity to play a significant role in an exciting, large European project on Computational Intelligence Platform for Evolving and Robust Predictive Systems (INFER) coordinated by STRC and involving major European partners.

You will also be expected to contribute to the teaching within Computing and Informatics area and in particular to the MSc on Applied Data Analytics to start in 2011.
